Special Condenser Drying Note:
If you own a Comb-o-matic (ventless) model, when you remove items after drying, they may feel slightly damp to the
touch even though they are dry. This is a normal result of the Comb-o-matic's self-condensing drying process.
Simply shake them out to allow any humidity to dissipate (a few seconds) before folding or hanging them as you usually would.

Dryer performance has decreased over time.
Possible Cause (WDC6200CEE, WDC5200, WDC1025MCEE, WDC1024M ONLY): Continual over-sudsing from using too much/wrong kind of laundry aids.
Solution: Always use the correct amount of fabric softener (1-2 Tbsp.) and detergent (1-2 Tbsp. of powder, OR
liquid equivalent). Over time,
continual over-sudsing can clog up the condensing chamber and fan blower with lint particles and reduce
drying efficiency. If needed, an internal condenser cleaning kit is available from Splendide for purchase
with instructions. NOTE: The interior of the machine should be cleaned periodically by a qualified service technician.

Wrinkling.
Possible Cause: Incorrect sorting.
Solution: Always load items of similar size and weight. Remember, heavier fabrics,
such as towels and denim jeans may require extra room (and time) to dry.
Possible Cause: Overloading while Drying.
Solution: Load your dryer so clothes have enough room to move freely in the drum while drying.
Possible Cause: Incorrect wash cycle.
Solution: Always follow the the cycle and temperature guidelines found on your clothing tags.
Match cycle selection and temperature to type of fabric you are using.
Repeated washing in water that is too hot may cause wrinkling.
Possible Cause: COLD Wash Temperatures.
Solution: For fabrics that will allow it, use Warmer wash temperatures for the best
wash results and to prevent fabric wrinkling.
Possible Cause: Spin speed too high.
Solution:
WD2100, WD2000S, WDC6200CEE, & WDC5200 -
Cotton Heavy Duty items dry faster using the 1200 RPM high spin. However,
if you're not laundering items like jeans or towels, choose a Permanent Press or Delicates cycle.
OR press the "Low Spin" (600 RPM) button when washing.
All Other Models -
Choose a cycle with a lower spin speed, OR press "Low Spin" when washing
Possible Cause: Clothes matted to drum after Spin.
Solution: Use the recommended amount of fabric softener (or a detergent with a built-in softener)
during the wash cycle so clothes fall freely from the drum after spinning. OR,
give garments a quick shake and/or fold them when washing is complete, before starting a dry cycle.
Possible Cause: Dry temperature too HOT.
Solution:
WD2100, WD2000S, WDC6200CEE & WDC5200 -
For garments that require Medium or Low drying temperatures, choose Permanent Press Dry w/Easy Iron pressed,
OR choose Delicates Dry.
All Other Models - Press the "Half Heat" button when drying.
Possible Cause: Items were not removed promptly.
Solution:
WD2100, WD2000S, WDC6200CEE & WDC5200 -

All Other Models - Fold or hang your laundry when it is still hot from the dryer.

Lint or residue on clothing.
Possible Cause: Wash cycle is too long.
Solution: Select a shorter wash cycle.
Possible Cause: Detergent not dissolving.
Solution: Try a quick-dissolving powder detergent or a liquid detergent and/or use a warmer

Stains on the load.

Solution: Dispensing balls will not operate correctly in this machine. Add 1-2 Tbsp. of liquid fabric softener
to the fabric softener compartment or use a detergent with a built-in softener.
Possible Cause: Powdered detergent in Low Spin.
Solution: Consider using liquid detergent in wash cycles with Low Spin.
Possible Cause (WD2100, WD2000S, WDC6200CEE & WDC5200 ONLY):
